In summary and overall, the proposals will deliver the following:
Play facilities including a Local Equipped Area for Play (LEAP) and Local Areas for Play (LAP)
Up to 170 high-quality new homes, of which up to 50% will be affordable, to ensure a range of property tenures, types, and sizes
New walking and cycling routes, including a circular route around the edges of the proposed development, with connections into the existing active travel network
Conserving and enhancing the existing network of hedgerows, including those along Lycrome Road, supplemented by new hedgerow and tree planting
Provision of ecological buffers along the site’s natural boundaries, integrating existing green spaces such as woodlands and tree lines
Strengthening of the existing buffer planting site interface and boundary with properties on Deer Park Walk and Lycrome Road
Creation of continuous green corridors that support biodiversity and nature recovery
Enhanced landscaping and green links
Proposed vehicular, pedestrian and cycle access point to encourage sustainable travel
